"Summer", engraving using the mezzotint technique (or "black manlara") printed with colored inks (coloured in the plate). The engraver is Loulis Busiere, engraver and lithographer born on 19 September 1880 in Denain, died on 24 September 1960 in Savigny-sur-Orge. A pupil of Leon Bonnat and Jacquet, he was presented at the Universal Exhibition of Panigi in 1900 with an engraving by Rubens. In 1904 he won the Prix de Rome (a scholarship) and in 1914 he participated in the Salon das Artistes Francais. From story by Henry Thomson. Signed in pencil lower right. Plate dated 1936.
