Splendid Italian landscape from the first half of the 20th century. Oil on canvas work signed by the Neapolitan painter Felice Giordano (1880-1964), lacking authentication. Famous for his still lifes and especially his views, his painting is characterised by an intense exaltation of the material itself made to shine with enamelled lights. Even in this luminous seascape, in fact, the rocks seem to glow under the sun. A painting of considerable size, ideal for a large living room or bedroom. Beautifully decorated carved and gilded wooden frame, with some signs of time. Work already restored with re-staining, replacement of the frame and repainting in some small places.
