Italian painting from the second half of the 17th century. Oil work on canvas depicting the kiss and therefore the betrayal of Judas in the Garden of Gethsemane. This was in fact the signal agreed with the guards to recognize Jesus and arrest him. Painting of excellent pictorial quality which can be seen particularly in the drapery and details of the clothes. Note how Christ and his disciples wear old-fashioned clothes while the soldiers are depicted with typical seventeenth-century clothing. Painting already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and recovery of color in some places. Overall, it is in a good state of conservation. Light painting H 105 x W 150 cm.
