Pair of large Limoges vases. Refined vases in fine Limoges porcelain hand-decorated with flowers painted on pure gold backgrounds. Base and edge in bronze. These pairs of elegant vases are one of the maximum expressions of Limoges art in modern times. Limoges Porcelain is a hard-paste porcelain that saw its production begin at the end of the 1700s in the city of Limoges. Produced in Limoges around the 1960s. The vases have the Limoges mark on both the front and back and one of the two still has the Manufacture Imperiale Limoges label. They are both in excellent condition and have no defects.
