Napoleon III vase in polychrome Sevres porcelain, 19th century
Description: Antique Napoleon III vase in polychrome Sevres porcelain with inserts of gilded bronze elements belonging to the second half of the 19th century. Monumental parade vase with lid surmounted by a pine cone-shaped apical socket richly decorated with relief motifs and vegetal details. The side handles are symmetrical with a sinuous shape made of expertly chiseled gilded bronze. The central body is large and slightly pot-bellied and has a large painted reserve in the center depicting a gallant scene. The central scene is surrounded by an extremely elaborate golden frame with volutes, leaves and interlacing motifs. Under the body there is a golden quadrangular base chiseled with a leaf motif. P.S. The vase has a central bronze pin that allows it to turn on itself and divide it into two parts. Conditions: Excellent condition. Origin: France (1860/70) Measurements: Diameter 33cm. Height 77cm.
