Elegant pendant lamp produced by Venini in 1970, a representative example of Italian design and the refined Murano glass art of the period. The diffuser is made of transparent blown glass, characterized by bands of lattimo (white opaline glass), arranged in a horizontal sequence. This particular treatment creates a fascinating visual effect of alternating transparency and opacity, which delicately modulate the diffused light and give the lamp a sophisticated and light character. The shape of the light body is sober but refined, an expression of the modernist taste of the 1970s: essential lines and pure geometries, designed to enhance the material quality of the glass and the artisanal precision of the workmanship. Each band is perfectly integrated into the structure, with imperceptible joints that testify to the extremely high technical expertise of Venini's master glassmakers
