The violinist, the granddaughter and the doll "signature: Cecconi Oil on canvas - 1950s Italy Tender and romantic picture of a violinist grandfather who makes a lullaby with the violin to fall asleep the girl. Note the details, the girl's doll and the dead nature of the window. Nice golden leafy frame frame. With frame 76 x 95 cm Without frame: 60 x 80 cm Alberto Cecconi - Florentine artist Florence 1897, died in 1971 He studied at the Accademia della Native, then to the free school of the nude in Rome. In 1921 he exhibited in Florence the "Festa Day" picture, with which he won the Stibbert Prize. He then went to South America held several personal exhibitions in Buenos Aires, in San Paolo in Rio de Janeiro and Lima in Peru. He distinguished himself for his landscape production especially of the Tuscan countryside, but also that of South America. There are also several portraits and gender scenes, always of popular subjects.
