Splendid view of Venice signed M.C. and dated 1917. Oil work on canvas, in the first canvas, depicting Piazza San Marco with front view of the famous basilica and the large bell tower. The style is linked to the Venetian seer tradition, the composition is centered with extreme perspective precision while the scene is animated by small meticulously described figures. Cake of the 20th century in carved and golden wood, of beautiful decoration, with some signs of the time. Painted already restored with color recovery in small points, overall in good conservative state. Painted light h 66 x l 50 cm.
