Description: Ancient frame from the Neapolitan Empire in gilded and carved wood belonging to the first decade of the 19th century. The entire structure is embellished with three orders of palmette carvings typical of the empire it belongs to. The gold is 24kt gold leaf on the Armenian bole layer. Provenance: Naples, early 19th century. External measurements: 47x59 cm. Internal measurements: 44x33 cm. Document: certificate of authenticity.
