Vintage desk in light birch designed by Carl Malmsten for Åfors, with three front drawers and tapered legs. Rare model from the master of Swedish design, with original manufacturer's stamp. Swedish desk in light birch designed by Carl Malmsten for Åfors around the mid-1940s. Made of solid wood with a natural finish, it features three front drawers with original locks and tapered legs that give lightness to the structure. On the back of one of the drawers there is the original manufacturer's stamp. The balanced proportions and sober line reflect Malmsten's philosophy, oriented towards a functional but refined aesthetic. Rare designer model, example of the best Scandinavian craftsmanship of the period. Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
