Antique Spanish painting from the early 20th century. Oil on canvas, first canvas, depicting a lovely interior scene The Lullaby, of good pictorial quality. The tender scene, on a dark background, represents a woman sitting with a baby in swaddling clothes in her arms. A painting of great size and impact, adorned with a finely sculpted and gilded wooden and plaster frame.
Painting signed lower left (see photo) P. G. Blanco, referable to the painter Pedro G. Blanco (1874-1938), lacking authentication. Large work that develops vertically, ideal for placing in a bedroom or living room, for antique dealers and interior designers. Painting that has undergone some small conservative restoration work with two small patches visible on the back (see photo). In the first patina, it shows some small drops in color and signs of aging, overall in a good state of conservation. Light painting H 134 x W 94 cm.
