“Olympia” adjustable table lamp in white lacquered metal and chromed steel, base covered in leather. Anders Pehrson's 1972 Olympic design, supplied for the Olympic Village.
“Olympia” version of the famous family of lamps designed by Anders Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan: cylindrical head in lacquered metal with anti-glare diffuser with concentric blades, adjustable arm on double chromed rod with sliding trolley and Bakelite/ABS knob, disc base covered in leather which adds weight and material warmth. The project was born in 1972 for the Olympics (set-ups of the Olympic village and press spaces) and summarizes the Scandinavian idea of controlled light: precise beam towards the floor and soft glow, without glare on the perimeter. Working electrical system; slight signs of aging consistent with age and use.
Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
