Item description
French game table from the late 19th century. Large cabinet with top richly inlaid with geometric and renaissance decoration, with central chessboard (see photo). Married table, that is obtained from two elements born separately (base and top) assembled during the 20th century. Furniture with solid wood base and top inlaid in walnut, maple, ebonized wood, mahogany, cherry and fruit woods. Complete with two drawers placed on opposite sides of the chessboard (see photo) of small size, ideal for storing pawns and board games. Furniture in patina, has some signs of wear and small missing wooden decoration. Overall in fairly good state of preservation.
