Item description
Mid-20th century French glass window sideboard, in ebonized wood richly inlaid with brass and faux tortoiseshell and adorned with gilt and chiseled bronze decorations in Boulle style. Single door sideboard, complete with working key, fitted with an interior shelf and baseboard top. Paper covered interior with several tears and signs of wear (see photos). Wooden top in character with several halos, to be stained. Structurally sound with a small lift of brass decoration (at the top of the door, see photo). Overall in fair state of preservation.
