Technical and Construction Details
Porcelain: The central stems are two-handled vases decorated with floral motifs (chrysanthemums and peonies) and geometric reserves. The presence of stylized butterflies and underglaze and overglaze decorations with touches of pure gold is noticeable.
Bronze Frame:
Upper part: Three-arm structure with pods and scroll motifs. The drip trays have a scalloped edge, while the mouthpieces are finely chiseled with foliage motifs.
Loops: The vessels feature bronze handles and rings supported by feral protomes.
Base: Circular molded and podded base that rests on four elegant curly feet.
Period: early 18th century. Edo Period (1603 - 1868)
