Oil on hardboard, titled (tombolo) on the back. The Tombolo Estate covers an area of approximately 5,000 hectares on the southern coast of the park between the Arno River and the Arno floodway in Calambrone. It is characterized by alternating dense woods and agricultural areas and, in the coastal area, by the presence of residential settlements (Marina di Pisa, Tirrenia, and Calambrone). Signed lower left. Lacquer and gold frame. Work from the late 1940s with original frame.

Gino Romiti (Livorno, 1881-1967). He trained in the studio of master Guglielmo Micheli, received guidance from Giovanni Fattori, and became friends with Modigliani. The artist's favorite subjects were the pine forests of Ardenza, near Livorno, gardens, flowers, country roads, and the seabed. In 1903, 1913, 1924, and 1952, he participated in the Venice Biennale, and in 1914 in the International Exhibition in Rome. In 1920, together with other artists from Livorno, he founded the “Gruppo Labronico,” of which he was president from 1943 to 1962. In 1926 and 1927, he participated in the 80th National Exhibition at Palazzo Pitti in Florence.
