The lamp has a thin structure in black metal, with a circular base in gray stone and an upper diffuser in blue Murano glass, with an irregular surface (3D). GIANFRANCO FRATTINI Architect and designer of great importance, Gianfranco Frattini (1926–2004) was a central figure of twentieth-century Italian design, appreciated for his ability to combine functionality, formal elegance and high-quality craftsmanship. His works have left a lasting impression, influencing generations of designers and still maintaining a timeless charm today. He trained as an architect at the Polytechnic University of Milan, where he graduated in 1953 and where he remained to live and work throughout his life. His career develops mainly in the field of interior design and industrial design. He continuously participates in shows and exhibitions, receiving numerous awards for his projects. In 1956 he was among the founders of the ADI – Association for Industrial Design – within which he held various positions. Its presence in congresses, conferences and furniture shows at an international level is also intense.
