Item description

Pair of semi‑circular bedside tables in walnut veneer, defined by a soft and well‑proportioned line. Crafted with high‑end early‑20th‑century workmanship, they feature a notably thick walnut veneer, typical of quality production of the period. The edge of the top presents a continuous geometric inlay, while the front includes a shaped drawer with a radial motif and its original brass knob. Their tapered legs, characteristic of the déco style, give the pieces a light and harmonious appearance. The pair comes from one of the most renowned and historic hotels in Riva del Garda, redesigned by architect Giancarlo Maroni, who was closely linked to Gabriele D’Annunzio. This location welcomed prominent personalities during the twentieth century, including Gabriele D’Annunzio and King Vittorio Emanuele III, as well as high‑profile international guests such as Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and Cornelius Vanderbilt. Elegant, balanced and rich in history, these bedside tables are ideal for interiors that require pieces with strong aesthetic presence and distinguished provenance.
