Refined Italian painting from the 18th century. Oil on canvas work depicting an animated pastoral scene, immersed in a soft and atmospheric landscape. In the foreground, a group of shepherds guide a flock of sheep, while in the distance we glimpse a splendid castle.
The brushwork is loose and gives the composition a vibrant overall effect. The palette is dominated by warm, brown colours, with bright accents on the animals' wool. The composition is balanced and the language refers to the central Italian tradition of the first half of the eighteenth century.
20th century wooden frame, beautifully decorated, with some signs of aging. Perfect framework for a small private studio or for an elegant, classic or contemporary environment. Work already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and restoration of color in some places. Overall in a fairly conservative state. Light painting H 33.5 x W 43.5 cm.
