The chair was produced in the 1950s by Vittorio Bonacina and designed by Franco Albini. The designer Franco Albini created the Margherita chair in 1951, experimenting with the use of thin and elastic materials, such as wicker, to shape the forms of his works. Realized with a structure composed of 4 "malaccada" crossbows and 60 "Indian cane" poles, foam rubber cushion covered in fabric.
