Pair of padded corbeille armchairs, characterized by a compact and enveloping structure, an expression of the functional taste of mid-twentieth century Italian design. The semi-circular backrest, continuous with the armrests, creates a cozy and comfortable seat. The covering is made of light background fabric decorated with a rich and lively pattern of butterflies and small stylized insects (bees), distributed over the entire surface. The color range includes bright shades of red, orange, pink, yellow, light blue and blue, which give the armchairs a strong decorative character and a pleasant dynamic effect, making them ideal as accent elements in both modern and eclectic or vintage-style environments. The structure rests on four legs in solid walnut wood, turned and flared, typical of Italian production in the 1950s and indicative of the influence of mid-century design.
