Refined pair of Italian appliques from the 70s produced by PAF Studio, made of Murano glass and brass, an elegant example of decorative lighting with an organic and sculptural taste.
The most distinctive element is the white satin glass diffuser, modeled in a suggestive leaf shape, or rather an open leaf-petal, with a soft, curved and slightly enveloping profile. The surface of the glass presents a delicate plastic scan in the lower part, almost as if to evoke the natural veins of the leaf, accentuating the botanical and poetic character of the design. This conformation allows the light to diffuse in a suffused and homogeneous way, creating a warm, elegant and very scenic atmosphere.
The brass structure, essential but well-proportioned, supports the glass with a curved and circular sign that adds visual lightness and a pleasant material contrast compared to the milky softness of the diffuser. The result is a balanced composition, in which the quality of Murano glass meets the precious sobriety of brass, according to a typically Italian language of the period.
These appliques are ideal in a bedroom, in an entrance, on the sides of a mirror or in a refined living room, where they can be enhanced both as light points and as decorative elements.
