Refined pair of table lamps produced by Franco Luce in the 70s, made of Murano glass and brass, a very elegant example of Italian decorative lighting with an organic and sculptural taste.
The distinctive element of these lamps is the white Murano glass diffuser, modeled in a suggestive leaf shape. The slender and pointed profile in the upper part, the well-marked central rib and the thin grooves that open harmoniously towards the sides clearly recall a stylized leaf, interpreted with great balance between naturalism and decorative abstraction. The slightly wavy edges further accentuate the sense of movement and lightness.
When illuminated, the ribbed surfaces of the glass diffuse a soft and enveloping light, creating visual depth and highlighting the quality of the material. The milky glass interacts with the polished brass structure, composed of a round base and an essential support that accompanies the diffuser vertically without weighing down its silhouette. The contrast between the opalescent softness of the glass and the warm shine of the brass conveys a sophisticated and typically Italian image.
These lamps are ideal as important lampshades, on bedside tables, sideboards, consoles or side tables, where they can function both as a light source and as a decorative element with a strong personality.
Dimensions of each lamp: 17 x 23 x 40 h cm.
