Item description

Magnificent inlaid and veneered dresser with mezzanine top. Wavy front. Consisting of five drawers and three smaller ones, veneered and inlaid with geometric patterns in walnut, rosewood and orchard wood. Entirely original, including the original locks; only the lower drawer lock has been replaced. Provenance: Northern Italy, probably Ferrara, second half of the 18th century. Original drawer bottoms and back panel.
