Armchair with chromed metal frame and padded seat in cognac-colored leather. Attributed to Peter Hoyte, 1970s English production.
Armchair attributed to Peter Hoyte. The chromed metal structure is defined by a continuous and light sign that accompanies the inclination of the seat and backrest, creating a fluid and well-proportioned profile. The cognac-colored leather upholstery is characterized by regular quilting with buttons that punctuates the surface, while the construction system with rear supporting sheet introduces flexibility and supports the cushion in a natural way. The seat, wide and low, is designed for relaxed use, in line with the language of European lounge chairs of the period. Typology attributable to the English production of the Seventies, characterized by light metal structures and padded seats designed for informal comfort.
