Refined set of three original etchings belonging to the famous series of "Figurines" by Salvator Rosa (1615-1673), undisputed master of the Italian Baroque, created between 1656 and 1657.

Subject: Animated scenes with male figures in dynamic poses, typical of the artist's rebellious and "picturesque" poetics. The first represents a Soldier/Warrior seen from behind: one of the most iconic figures of the "Figurine" series by Salvator Rosa, the second represents a philosopher (or an oriental sage) in dialogue with some women (in this work there is a small reddish spot (probably a "bloom" on the paper or an old sign of humidity) on the left: a sign of the time that gives charm and authenticity to the ancient work while the third represents a Character on the move, often identified in the Salvator series Pink like a traveler or a messenger.
Authenticity: The works are accompanied by an original certificate from the historic Adda Art Gallery on the back.
Conditions: Excellent state of conservation. The prints are presented in fine wooden frames with passepartout and protective glass.
