Item description

Description: Ancient Sicilian console in precious exotic woods belonging to the Charles X period of the early nineteenth century. The top in statuary white marble rests on a band under the top incorporating a drawer highlighted by an inlay with a floral motif alternating with griffins. The two truncated pyramid columns are enhanced by maple threads and are connected by a rectangular base with a floral motif inlay in the center. General Conditions: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: Sicily, early 19th century.
