This sideboard follows a configuration very typical of Scandinavian design in the sixties: a long and compact structure organized around a central sequence of drawers and two side compartments with sliding doors. An extremely functional setting, designed to hold a lot while keeping the furniture visually tidy and lightweight.
Everything appears carefully calibrated, without superfluous decorative elements: it is the ratio between proportions, surfaces and materials that builds the character of the piece of furniture. Teak accompanies the structure with warm hues and linear veining that make the surface natural and uniform. The significant length of the sideboard is lightened by the clean profile and the regularity of the openings, allowing it to easily fit into both modernist environments and more basic contemporary interiors.
