Open desk in walnut, bois de rose and mahogany. Top with central insert in walnut root and geometric threads in maple and stained maple, which continue across the entire surface. Pair of drawers in the band under the top with applications and molding in worked and gilded bronze. Truncated pyramid legs culminating with wheels, protective glass top. England, 19th Century.
