Item description

Empire secretaire in walnut. Drawer in the slightly projecting band below the top, supported by turned half columns with bases and capitals in chiseled and gilded bronze. Flap door concealing bar cabinet inside with front mirror made to replace the original cabinet. Base with pair of paneled doors, half-column uprights like the upper ones, truncated pyramid feet. Applications and moldings in brass sheet. Italy, early 19th century.
