Giuseppe Buscaglione's predominantly landscape production is characterized by attention to lights and colours, studied with precision from life, with particular attention to the atmospheric and temporal variations of nature: he went so far as to note behind his canvases, like his master Delleani, the place, the date and the atmospheric conditions in which he created his works.
This mountain view (probably from the Piedmontese Alps, its places of origin), sees a green valley with grazing cows and fir trees, under a gray sky full of clouds.
The painting is presented in a plaster frame from the early 1900s (slight cracks).
