Italian painting Bolognese school Anonymous author from the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. Oil on panel depicting a woman who he holds a bandaged child in his arms. A precious medallion around the child's neck bearing in the centre the image of the Madonna holding the little Jesus in her arms The woman's clothes and the child's swaddling are decorated from a blue lace band enriched with fringes. Poplar wood board with gilded frame, not contemporary. Good condition, no need for restoration Panel measurements 54 cm wide and 82 cm high
