This is a module/chassis for an external tube radio receiver produced by the famous and pioneering Milanese company Allocchio Bacchini & C. (Milan, serial number 2858). The item is in an extraordinary state of preservation, ideal for discerning collectors of vintage radio equipment, modern antiques, and scientific curiosities. Main features and technical details: Front panel: Original ebonite with engraved lettering and estimated to be in perfect condition. It features the original terminals for separate battery power: 4V for the filaments and 80V for the anode. Tube included: Complete with its rare original triode vacuum tube positioned on top. The tube's internal structure and supports are stable; The exposed internal filament appears visually intact (not broken). Interior and Wiring: The wooden case encloses an impeccable interior that has never been tampered with. The original capacitors with the interwoven "AB" logo of Allocchio Bacchini (6 mμf and 4 mμf values), the central coupling coil, and the typical rigid geometric wiring with fabric insulation of the period are present. Cosmetic condition: Excellent vintage condition. Solid wooden structure, no destructive rust blooms or mold. Very light patina of age that enhances its authenticity.
