Item description

This two-door chest of drawers made of solid chestnut wood, from Tuscany and dating back to the late 17th or early 18th century, is an authentic period piece, showing signs of age and handcrafting. The solid structure is supported by tall side uprights that serve as a base. The doors are decorated with simple geometric moldings and feature hand-forged wrought iron hinges and an original iron bolt lock. Inside, there are fixed shelves, also made of chestnut wood. The wood surface displays a rich dark patina and signs of wear, as well as slight cracks and woodworm holes, indicative of its longevity and authenticity. The piece has been treated with an anti-woodworm treatment to ensure its preservation. Dimensions: 165 x 87 x 42 cm SKU 440996
