Item description

Gaetano Lodi was an Italian painter and ornamentist in the phase of transition from eclecticism to floral art. This vase was made in 1881 for the wedding of his sister-in-law Laura Messeri. The ceramics made by Gaetano Lodi (who signed himself Prof. Lodi) are very rare (they are kept in the Ceramics Museum in Imola). There are no breaks or defects. A unique piece.
