Monotype Confidenze by Romeo Costetti, measures in mm plate 500 x 405. Romeo Costetti (Reggio Emilia 1871 - Rome 1957) was a painter and engraver specialized in the monotype technique. After an initial training at the Art Institute of Bologna, in 1886 he went to Naples to follow the drawing courses of Domenico Morelli. He then moved to Paris in 1899 where he came into contact with the exponents of the artistic avant-garde, from France will travel to other countries approaching the symbolist themes.
