Item description

Antique Italian painting of the 18th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting religious subject Madonna with child and saints of good pictorial hand. Painting of great size and impact adorned with antique wooden frame carved and lacquered (adapted to the painting). Work characterised by pleasant drapery and a great sweetness in the faces, for antique dealers and collectors of antique religious paintings. Ideal painting to be placed in a living room or study with a strong visual impact. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration, re-tinting, replacement of the frame and resumption of colour in some points (see photo). It has two long tears on the left side and along the entire length of the lower part and a missing canvas in the bottom right corner (see photo). Overall in a fairly good state of preservation, to be restored. Light painting H 93.5 x W 130 cm.
