Item description

Antique Italian painting of the 17th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting religious subject St. Francis of good pictorial hand. Painting of great size and impact, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of antique sacred art. Work that develops vertically with particular representation of the holy spirit at the top centre (see photo). Modern carved and gilded frame with beautiful decoration. Work that has undergone an intense conservative restoration, re-tinting and colouring in several points (see photo). In fair condition with some signs of restoration. Painted light H 188 x W 101 cm.
