Siul à Paris clock protected by a blown glass case. On a wooden base rests a polychrome patinated bronze clock with a landscape composed of houses, walls, fortresses and a lighthouse at the top. The sailing ship and the boat, reproduced in a polychrome painted paper sea, are animated by a spring movement that can be wound with a key. A gilded bronze wreath encloses a bronze Roman numeral hour display marked Siul à Paris. Mechanism marked C. F. Petit à Paris, 1836 (date scratched into the spring). Contemporary winding keys.
