Item description

Old Italian painting from the 18th century. Oil painting on canvas glued on a palletised panel depicting religious subject Tobiolo and the angel. Small painting, most probably a fragment of a larger painting, now lost. Painted by a good painterly hand for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of antique sacred art. Modern wooden frame in antique style with relief decoration, carved and gilded, complete with velvet and gilded wooden passe-partout (see photo). Finely painted picture in the finest detail, of excellent quality. Work that has undergone conservative restoration and colour repainting in places (see photo). In good condition. Painted light H 39 x W 24 cm.
