Item description

Large 17th century Italian religious painting. First oil on canvas work depicting a splendid blessing of friars, the iconography refers to the Jesuit order of Ignatius of Loyola. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration with three patches on the back (see photo) replacement of the frame and restoration of the colour in some places. Painting of exceptional size, excellent luminosity, for antiquarians and collectors. Presents some colour fading, particularly at the edges of the painting (see photo), overall in good state of preservation.
