Baroque oil on canvas painting depicting the martyrdom of St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen, good painterly hand. Painting of beautiful size and great character for antiquarians, interior decorators and collectors of ancient sacred art. The saint, in life an example of humility and dedication, is the first martyr of the Capuchin order. High impact, brightly colored painting depicting the moment when Faithful was attacked and slaughtered by heretics. Painting that has undergone conservation restoration, rintelo, frame replacement and color restoration in some places.
