Item description
Urio modular bookcase designed in the 1960s by Ico and Luisa Parisi for M.I.M. Rome. The bookcase consists of four modules that also have optional backs. They were in fact additional elements that are rarely found today. The bookcase can be assembled in different ways, with or without backs. If in fact the latter are excluded, the metal support structures will be visible (example published in the 'last photo). You can also play with the position of individual elements, deciding their placement as needed. The metal bookend elements can also be moved as desired. The different finish colors are curious, deliberately juxtaposed by interspersing the different wood essences. In the dark finishes the sides are light, to create a trait d'union between the shades. In the packaging of the bookcase will be added a sixth metal support structure , identical to the others, which will allow it to be divided into two separate units, composed as desired in 1+3 modules or 2+2. The bookcase has been completely finished and polished, ready for display. Dimensions: H. 220 cm - W. 394 cm - D. 56 cm (Each module is about 1 meter).
