A splendid armchair belonging to a family of the Venetian bourgeois elite, whose design is also a source of inspiration. The armchair is made of gilded wood in the mighty frame, with four supporting feet, each for each corner. The shapes are sinuous and captivating, echoing those typical of Baroque, very exuberant and pompous. The feet form very elegant curls. Immediately above is the armchair proper, with the seat consisting of a thick, enveloping cushion in a beautiful yellow velvet. Of similar workmanship is the backrest, whose peculiarity lies in the fact that it is slightly more relaxed than the others. In fact, this one is not straight and rigid, but more reclined, to offer the comfort typical of a queen. The edges of the backrest are criss-crossed with golden wood that creates gentle curls, making it even more sinuous. The armchair is suitable for reading areas, vanity corners, but also for elegant bedrooms and living rooms.
