Mid-century modern Scandinavian bookcase with secretaire produced in the 1960s. It is made of teak wood with teak veneer parts. Three shelves and a desk create a discreet space for the home office. The cabinet has an internal shelf and practical compartments. It can be locked with a key, which is included. It is a fully modular shelving system that fits perfectly in small bedrooms or living rooms. The vertical supports and tapered legs create geometric lines, emphasising the Scandinavian origin of the furniture, while the brass elements give it an imposing appearance. The wall unit comprises: a secretaire-desk or bar cabinet/ with practical compartments and shelf H: 41/ W: 88/ D: 33 cm; two 21 cm deep shelves; one 33 cm deep shelf; two teak supports, each 206 cm long. This is a beautiful and functional piece in fantastic original vintage condition, with slight traces of use, such as a slight discolouration - lightened by the sun on the left side of the bar cabinet/desk.
