Walnut sideboard by Sedláček and Vyčítal for Dřevotvar, 1960s
SILVER Seller in Praha, Czechia
Walnut sideboard by Miloš Sedláček and Karel Vyčítal for Dřevotvar made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. Sedláček and Vyčítal were leading postwar Czechoslovak architects and worked for the Czechoslovak firm Dřevotvar Jablonné nad Orlicí. Their work was obviously inspired by postwar Scandinavian design, from which they not only drew inspiration but also tried to modify in various ways. This piece of furniture is made of high-quality walnut wood. It is in good vintage condition with signs of time and use.
