Set of three ceramic ashtrays mod. Barbados by Angelo Mangiarotti for Danese (Milan), 1960s. They have different colors and sizes: the white one has a diameter of 25 cm, the red one and the black one 20 cm. They are in original condition, with signs of use and age. They are signed on the bottom. This ashtray displays the principles of design and aesthetics associated with both the designer and the mid-century modern era in which it was created. They are made of ceramic with a matte finish. Mangiarotti was known for his minimalist, functional approach to design and the ashtray features clean lines and a simple, timeless shape. Mangiarotti's pieces are sought after by collectors and those designed for Danese are considered design classics.
