Item description

Beautiful and unobtainable Voido tilting armchair in glossy white finish. Category 1 colour 1735. Glossy. Armchair designed in 2006 by the eclectic Israeli designer Ron Arad for the Italian furniture manufacturer Magis. The Voido rocking chair is a contemporary sculpture, to be admired and used, its organic simplicity many years ahead of the kind of shapes we can only achieve today with 3D printing. The Voido is made of rotationally moulded polyethylene and, despite its size and strength, is unusually light, 21 kg. It was initially available in five colours. This version in glossy white is no longer in production. Today, only its glossy black counterpart is produced. Price of the new glossy black 1708 euros. This glossy white Voido is a very rare artefact. Excellent condition. For display. Only used predominantly as a collector's sculpture.
