Rare Florentine oval-shaped mirror in gilded and carved wood belonging to the late 19th century. The whole edge is a triumph of racemes and leaves alternating with a shell at the bottom and an introflected curl at the top. The gilding is 24kt gold leaf and rests on a layer of bole substance used as a base on which to lay the gold leaf. The mercury mirror is original of the period. Provenance: late 19th century Florence. Measurements: 130x85 cm. Certificate of Authenticity. We are at your disposal for further clarifications or photographic details.
