Item description

Description: Antique Louis XVI Neapolitan chest of drawers with marble top in precious exotic woods belonging to the second half of the 18th century. The rectangular body piece of furniture is set on four pyramidal legs decorated with linear inlays and ending with bronze shoes. The front is characterized by two front drawers highlighted by gilded bronze handles and escutcheons. The sides have the same layout as the front, i.e. herringbone wood in the center and dense floral motif inlay at the end. General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: Naples 18th century. Measurements: 60x34 H86cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
